Day 01 - Hyderabad-Arrival
Arrive at Hyderabad international airport, you will be received by the representative of HTOI and would be further assisted & transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 - Hyderabad
After having breakfast start a daylong guided tour of Charminar, Golconda Fort – one of the imposing forts of South India, Qutub Shahi Tombs - the only one of its kind in the world where at one place an entire dynasty has been buried, Hussain Sagar Lake, Mecca Masjid – the bricks of this mosque were brought from Mecca to construct the central arch and Salar Jung Museum - it has one of the largest one-man collections of antiques in the world. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 - Hyderabad-Bidar
Have breakfast and depart Hyderabad for Bidar. On arrival at Bidar, transfer to the hotel. Later take a tour of Bidar Fort – this fort features superb wood carvings and enthralling glassy tile mosaics. Also visit the Bahmani Ruler’s Tomb – the
interior of these square tombs have been wonderfully colored and view the gilded paintings on the ceilings.Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Bidar-Gulbarga
In the morning leave Bidar for Gulbarga – a very important city of Karnataka in terms of politics. On arrival at Gulbarga, transfer to the hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of enormous Gulbarga Fort – this fort is one of the initial examples of Islamic architecture in Karnataka. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 - Gulbarga-Bijapur
Today, drive further to Bijapur. Arrive at Bijapur, check in at the hotel. Later visit Gol Gumbaz- the central dome of Gol Gumbaz is the second to the dome of St Peter's Basilica of Rome in the size. This Gumbaz stands unsupported by any pillars. Also take the tour of Ibrahim Roza – it is a palatial Mosque and considered as one of the forerunners of Taj Mahal. Jumma Masjid of Bijapur is a worth visiting. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Bijaipur-Badami
Have leisurely breakfast at the hotel and depart for Badami. Arrive at Badami and transfer to the hotel. Visit Badami Caves - this cave temple complex include four ancient rock-cut caves which are the unique architectural examples. Also take a tour of Badami Fort. Later take a guided tour of Bhutanatha temple, this temple took its name from the lake just under Badami cave temples. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 - Badami-Aihole-Pattadakal-Hampi (Hospet)
Proceed to Hospet stopping en-route to visit Pattadakal – an UNESCO world heritage site located on the banks of the Malaprabha River. Pattadakal is a testimony for the richness of Chalukyan architecture. Also stop on the way at Aihole – it is known as ‘the cradle of the Indian Architecture’. Finally arrive at Hospet and check in at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 - Hampi (Hospet)
Take a full day trip to Hampi – an UNESCO world heritage site. Hampi was the splendid capital of the great Vijayanagara Empire. Hampi is currently a ruined city having ancient palaces and few forts. Hampi is the perfect place to see the Hindu architecture. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 - Hampi (Hospet)-Chitradurga-Chikmaglur
Today depart Hospet (Hampi) for picturesque hill station Chikmaglur visiting en-route Chitradurga Fort (a massive Palace of Stone considered as a marvel of military architecture). Arrive at Chikmaglur, check in at the hotel. Rest of the time is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Chikmaglur
The day is kept free to appreciate the natural beauty of Chikmaglur. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - Chikmaglur-Halebid-Belur-Hassan
In the morning leave Chikmanglur for Hassan stopping on the way to take the tours of Halebid, an ancient Hoysalas capital and Belur – it has got only Hoysala temple which is still in active worship. Finally arrive at Hassan and transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 - Hassan-Shravanabelagola-Mysore
Today transfer to Mysore halting en-route to see Shravanabelagola, one of the prominent Jain pilgrim centers in India. On arrival at Mysore, check in at the hotel. Later take a tour of Chamudni Hills to view a huge Nandi Bull built out of a single rock hewn and the Mysore Palace - one of the most magnificent palaces in Southern India. Also take a tour of Brindavan Garden – one of the best gardens of India. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 - Mysore-Srirangapatanam-Bangalore
In the morning take an excursion to Somnathpur –a small village located on the banks of River Kaveri to visit few of the best Hoysala temples. Later depart Mysore for Bangalore (139 km approx.) by road. En-route visit Srirangapatanam - the summer capital of Tipu Sultan. Arrive at Bangalore (the Silicon Valley of India), transfer to the hotel. Bangalore is the capital of software industry of India. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 - Bangalore
Take a daylong tour of Vidhana Soudha – a superb assembly building, Lallbagh Gardens – one of the best botanical gardens of India, Cubbon Park a beautiful park and various other attractions of Bangalore. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 - Bangalore-Departure
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Bangalore international airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
