Chandrashila Trek Tour:

The top of Chandershila is the place from there a trekker can view a hundred-eighty degree sight of the Indian Himalayas. This top may be reached through a very pleasant and simple trek that begins from a tiny village Sari. This trek will take us towards a scenic lake Devria Tal that offers a superb mountains view among that are Chopta, Choukhmba, Tungnath, Kedarnath and Chandrashila Top.

Chopta is called as the India’s Switzerland located at 2600 meter’s altitude. Chopta gives a superb sight of the magnificent peaks of the Himalayas alongside of the obvious blue sky’s background. With the lofty elevated meadows located around, Chopta is considered as the Garhwal’s most excellent site for camping. The sunset seen at Chopta is marvelous. En-route to Chandershila, you will see the Tungnath Temple (03,680 meters) this is the highest located shrine of Lord Shiva amongst Panch Kedars. One can see the panoramic view of the Kedar, Bandar Poonch, Dunagiri and Chaukhamba peaks from here. The trekking tour to the top of Chandershila is plentiful with prosperous fauna & flora as a person going through numerous slopes of grass. Day 01/ Delhi-Arrival

Arrive at Delhi international airport, you will be received by the representative of HTOI and would be further assisted & transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02/ Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh

In the morning, transfer to Delhi railway station to board the Shatabadi Express train to Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar, transfer to the auspicious place Rishikesh – which is the Yoga capital of the world and gateway to the Himalayas. It is the home of various adventurous activities like White Water River rafting, trekking and hiking. Later visit Lakshman Jhula (450 feet long suspension bridge), Ram Jhula, Bharat temple, Swargashram temple, Geeta Bhawan temple and various other temples and Ashrams. Also take an excursion to Nilkantha Mahadev temple (12 KMS away from the town) – it is located at a height of approx 5000 feet). From here one can have a spectacular view of the area. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03/ Rishikesh-Sari (08 HRS)-DeoriatalLake (2300 meters) (01 HRS)

After having breakfast, transfer to Sari. This journey would be the fantastic as it goes along with the rivers like Ganges, Alaknanda & Mandakini. Stop on the way to visit Deoprayag a historical place located at the meeting place of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River that creates the auspicious river Ganga. Arrive at Sari and start the trek towards excellent Lake of the Himalaya known as Deoriatal. The walk is sheer by the jungle and offers the superb outlook of the villages located all around. On arrival at Deoriatal Lake, check in to the camp. Rest of the time is kept free for exploring the nearby area and the pretty lake. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04/ Deoriatal Lake-Chopta (3000 meters) 05½ HRS

In the morning view the magnificent view of the snow clad peaks of Himalayas. Have breakfast and trek to Chopta. This would be the steady trek passing by the thick forest & the gorgeous meadows of alpine scattered with beautiful flowers. Arrive at Chopta and check in to the camp.

Day 05/ Chopta-Chandrashilla (4000 meters)-Chopta 06½ HRS

Today, trek to Chandrashilla. This walk would be all most steady climb by the bushes of rhododendron. From the top of Chandrashilla, one can view the important Garhwal Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi (7817 Meters) it is the second high peak in of Himalayas in India, Bandar Poonch, Kedarnath, Trishul and many more. On arrival at Chandrashila, explore its area and trek back to Chopta to stay overnight.

Day 06/ Chopta-Rishikesh (08 HRS)

After having breakfast, transfer back to Rishikesh. On arrival at Rishikesh, check in to the hotel.

Day 07/ Rishikesh-Haridwar-Delhi-Departure

In time, transfer to the Haridwar railway station to board the train to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi, have dinner at one of the many famous restaurants, later transfer to the international airport to connect the flight back to the onward destination. The tour ends.
