Day 01 Delhi-Arrival
Arrive at Delhi international airport, you will be received by the representative of HTOI and would be further assisted & transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi
After having leisurely breakfast, our representative and guide would meet you at the hotel and start a full day guided tour of Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, which is one of the tallest towers of it’s time in India, Humanyun’s Tomb – an UNESCO world heritage site which was built by Begum Hamida for his husband Mughal Emperor Humanyun. It is one of the forerunners of the Taj Mahal. Later also visit India Gate, President’s House, the landmark of India Democracy the Parliament House. Take a tour of Red Fort – an UNESCO world heritage site and a symbol of mighty Mughal Empire, Jama Masjid the biggest mosque of India, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat (a Memorial of Father of India Mahatma Gandhi). Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi-Amritsar
In the morning, you will be transfers to board the prestigious Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Later visit Golden Temple – it is the most sacred temple of the Sikhs all over the world. Golden Temple is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Darbar Sahib. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Amritsar
Today take a guided tour of Jalianwala Bagh also called as the Amritsar Massacre – a national monument where on 13th of April, 1919, over thousands unarmed people was massacred by the British Indian Army soldiers by the order of Brigadier Reginald Dyer. Later also visit Wagha boarder to experience the flag ceremony which is held between Indian and Pakistan forces everyday. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 - Amritsar-Dharamshala
After breakfast drive further to Dharamshala. Arrive at Dharamshala, transfer to the hotel at McLeodganj. McLeodganj is the place where His Holiness Dalai Lama along with thousands Tibetan refugees lives. It is the perfect place to view the Tibetan culture and their life style. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Dharamshala
Today take a guided tour of Tibetan settlements, the places of their worships, Namgyal Monastery, the learning centres & few craft centres. Also visit the church of St. John-in-the-Wilderness nearby. If lucky, get an opportunity to meet & take an audience of His Holiness Dalai Lama. You may take a tour of Kangra Art Museum at lower Dharamshala to see the miniature paintings of Kangra School of Art. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 - Dharamshala-Taragarh (Palampur)
Drive further to Palampur visiting Brijeshwari Devi temple, Chamundi Devi temple and 8th century Masroor Rock temple en-route. These fifteen rock temples are opulently carved & monolithic sculpted in the superb style same as the Kailash temple of Ellora Caves. Arrive at Palampur check in at historical Taragarh Palace hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Tashijong Monastery to see the Tibetan Carpet Weaving factory, wooden carvings & Thanka Paintings. Also visit Baijnath temple – it is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva Vaidyanatha. It is believed that here the great King of Lanka Ravana during the Ramayana period Worshipped Shiva in-order to get immortality. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 - Taragarh-Manali
Have leisurely breakfast and proceed further to Manali. Arrive at Manali, check to the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 - Manali
Today visit 15th century superbly crafted pagoda roof Hadimba Devi temple, Tibetan Monasteries, Vashistha well known for Hot springs & temples dedicated to Sage Vashistha and Lord Ram, Jagatsukh to see the oldest temples of Shiva & Sandhya Gayatri, Solang Valley a picturesque place famous for Ski slopes & glacier close to Manali and Rohtang Pass located at the height of 3980 meters is a gateway to trans Himalayan Lahaul. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Manali-Shimla
Morning travel further to the hill retreat Shimla. Arrive at Shimla, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to enjoy the natural beauty. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - Shimla
Take a sightseeing and nature walk tour of Shimla that will include the Mall, Christ Church, Shimla State Museum and Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 - Shimla-Chandigarh
In the morning transfer to the railway station to board the toy train to Kalka. This toy train ride would be very interesting experience for the tourists as it passes through very picturesque route. Arrive Kalka and transfer further to Chandigarh, which is one of the most planned cities of India. Rest of the time is kept free for optional activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 - Chandigarh
Today take a tour of Chandigarh visiting Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Leisure Valley and Government Museum & Art Gallery. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 - Chandigarh-Delhi-Departur
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Delhi international airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
