Day 01 - Srinagar-Arrival
Arrive
at Srinagar airport, you will be received by our representative and
would be further assisted & transferred to Deluxe Houseboat. In the
afternoon, take a Shikara ride over Dal Lake viewing Vegetable gardens
and floating etc – this would be a very romantic experience. Stay
overnight at the houseboat. Day 02 - Srinagar
Today
take a guided tour of Srinagar seeing Mughal Gardens – visit Nishat
Bagh (Abode of pleasure) this was made in 1632 AD by Asif Khan Brother
in law of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Also visit Shalimar Bagh (Abode of
love) made by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beautiful wife Nurjahan.
These gardens are located on the banks of pretty Dal Lake. Later taken
an excursion to Shankracharya hill situated in the middle of Srinagar
it has got one of the most popular temples of Lord Shiva around 2000
years old. Stay overnight at the houseboat. Day 03 - Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar
Today
take a day return trip to Sonamarg known as Golden Meadow. It is
located in Sindh Valley surrounded by magnificent mountains and
streamed with beautiful flowers. Take an enjoyable horse ride to
Thajwas glacier and take a sledge ride on snow. Stay overnight at the
houseboat. Day 04 - Srinagar-Pahalgam
Have
leisurely breakfast and transfer to Pahalgam popularly known as Valley
of Shepherds. Stop on the way to visit Saffron fields, ruins of
Awantipura ( it basically has approximately 1100 years old Lord Vishnu
temple made by King namely Awantiwareman), visit the stunning
countryside and many rice fields en-route. On arrival at Pahalgam,
check in to the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to walk and
increase your photo collection with marvellous views of mountains. Stay
overnight in the hotel. Day 05 - Pahalgam
The
day is kept free at leisure or optional activities. You may take a tour
to Chandanwari or Aru through ponies. Stay overnight in the hotel. Day 06 - Pahalgam-Gulmarg
Proceed
to Meadow of Flowers Gulmarg - it has got one of the most excellent Ski
slopes of the world and one of the highest 18 holes golf courses. Have
the views of Nanga Parbhat if weather is clear. Take the short optional
trek to Khilangmarg this takes around 3 hrs. Later enjoy sledge riding
on snow and chair Lifts to take mountain ride. Stay overnight in the
hotel. Day 07 - Gulmarg-Srinagar
Morning
is kept free at leisure. In the afternoon, drive back to Srinagar and
check in to the houseboat. Stay overnight at the houseboat. Day 08 - Srinagar-Departure
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
