Surrounded by Bangladesh, Burma and Tripura, the Indian state Mizoram is a mixture of previous South and North Lushai mountain districts. Mizoram is a land of enormous natural beauty having the endless ranges of flora & fauna.

Aizawl – the capital city of Mizoram is located at about 4000 feet above the sea level which is the religious & cultural center for the Mizos of the state. Tamdil, Champai, Thenzawl and Vantawng fall are the important tourist attractions of the state. Vantawang has one of the highest waterfalls in the Mizoram and Champai gives a panoramic view of the hills of Myanmar. Mizoram has the lovely weather year round. The whole area of the state comes in the direct touch of the monsoon season as the heavy rains pours here from May to September.

Day 01 - Kolkata-Arrival

On your arrival at Kolkata international airport, you will be met by our representative and would be further assisted till your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 - Kolkata-Aizawl

Mizoram TourBoard the flight from Kolkata to Aizawl (the capital of Mizoram). Arrive at Aizawl airport, you will be received by the representative of HTOI and would be further assisted & transferred to your hotel. After having lunch, take a guided tour of Babu Tlang and Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 - Aizawl

Mizoram TravelHave breakfast and start a tour of Aizawl visiting Durtlang Hills, Museum to see the glimpses of Mizo culture and Mini Zoological Garden. Evening is kept free for a shopping tour at Luangmual Handicraft Centre. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 - Aizawl-Vantawng-Thenzawl

Mizoram TourIn the morning, transfer towards Vantawng (137 Km), it is the highest and one of the picturesque hill stations of Mizoram. Have lunch and take an angling tour & enjoy the boating. Stay overnight in a tourist lodge at Thenzawl.

Day 05 - Vantawng-Thenzawl

Mizoram Tribal TourThe day would be used in visiting the water falls of Thenzawl and the various tribal villages located nearby. Stay overnight in a tourist lodge at Thenzawl.

Day 06 - Vantawng-Aizawl

Mizoram TourHave breakfast and transfer to Aizawl. After having lunch, take a tour of the local markets in Aizawl. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 - Aizawl-Dampa Sanctuary-Aizawl

Mizoram Wildlife TourTake a day return excursion to Dampa sanctuary. This was established during 1976 and has an area of 572 square meters; the entire region of Dampa Sanctuary is extremely beautiful. The major animals could be spotted out here are the elephants, Royal Bengali tiger, leopards, Bison, the bears, gibbon and various fauna varieties. In case one travels in March first week to Mizoram a week long “Chapchur Kut Spring Festival” could be witnessed. During this festival, one can see the traditional dances like Solakia and Cheraw (Bamboo). Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 - Aizawl-Kolkata

Victoria Memorial Kolkata TourIn time, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Kolkata. Arrive Kolkata, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free at your discretions or last minute shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 Kolkata-Departure

At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the international airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
