Day 03/ Kolkata-Vishnupur

After having breakfast, transfer to the town of Terracota – Vishnupur stopping on the way to see the native places related to Swami Ramakrishna as Jayrambati and Kamarpukur. Arrive at Vishnupur, check in to the hotel. Vishnupur is a very historical town as it was the capital of Malla dynasty during 08th centuries. Here you may see the typical Bengali temple architecture. The famous temples of Vishnupur are Jor-Bangla, Rashmancha and Shyamrai. Later visit the work center of Conch shell, the Silk weaving centre of Baluchori and the Dasavatar making centre of playing cards. Dasavatar Playing Card Making Center is a characteristic place making the traditional playing cards. Also visit the Terracota Work Centre at Panchmura village. Stay overnight at the hotel. |
Day 04/ Vishnupur-Shantiniketan
| After having breakfast, transfer to Shantiniketan (Peace’s abode) visiting Joydev and Kenduli on the way. Shantiniketan is associated with Noble Laureate writer & poet namely Rabindranath Tagore. In Shantiniketan take a guided tour of Vishwa Bharati University – a school of open air founded by Rabindranath Tagore, Museum and Kalabavan. To view the typical different Bengali architecture visit a five house complex Uttarayan. Also take an excursion to Shantal – a tribal village to witness Shantal dance & musical performances. You may also enjoy Baul song (Bengal’s Balad Singer) and the dance show in the village of Baul. | ![]() |
Day 05/ Shantiniketan-Berhampur (Murshidabad)

In the morning leave Shantiniketan for Murshidabad. It was once the capital of Bengal and is associated with historical Plassey War of 1757 this war changed the history of India as the British became the stronger after this. Later take a sightseeing tour of Katra Mosque, Hazariduari Palace and Immambara. Stay overnight at the hotel. |
Day 06/ Murshidabad-Malda
| Today depart Murshidabad for English Market of its time Malda. Later take an excursion to Gaur known for historical Dakhil Darwaza, Barasona Mosque, Lukochuri Darwaza and Loton Mosque etc. The monuments of Gaur are famous for their architecture and one can see the mixture of Hindu, Buddhist, Bengal and Islamic architectures. It was built in 14th -15th century during the period of Islamic at Bengal. To see the ruins of 09th century Pala period visit Pandua – known for its combination of Buddhist and Islamic architecture. Day 07/ Malda-Bagdogra-Kolkata

At appropriate time transfer to the Bagdogra airport to board the flight for Kolkata. |
Day 08/ Kolkata-Departure
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the international airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
