In its western side, there is golden desert of Thar full of ancient temples, palaces, forts and sand dunes. On another side, the lakes, mountains and step wells fascinates us. Moreover, the wildlife of Ranthambhore especially the tiger awaits in the jungle, so as the birds of Bharatpur.
The other-side of the state - the fresco on the grand Havelis of Shekhawati tell the grandeur of bygone era. Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour Itinerary
- Day 01 – Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, you will be received and would be further transferred to your hotel.
- Day 02 – Delhi-Jaipur
Today, leave for Pink City Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur has very colorful markets, warm and hospitable people and stunning forts. Relax at the hotel upon arrival.
- Day 03 – Jaipur
Today visit superb Amber Fort climbing its heights on the elephant back, an architectural delight Hawa Mahal (the wind palace); experience the astrology at Jantar Mantar (the observatory), the royal City Palace & its museum.
- Day 04 – Jaipur-Bikaner
After breakfast, drive to Bikaner and visit Junagarh Fort– a very well preserved monument and camel breeding farm – only one of its kinds in India.
- Day 05 – Bikaner-Deshnok-Jaisalmer
Further travel to Golden City of Rajasthan – Jaisalmer halting briefly at Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok also quite famous as Rat Temple.
- Day 06 – Jaisalmer
Explore the Jain temples in Golden Fort, visit grand Havelis in the city. Later, the live performance of Kalbeliya Dance along with soulful music will enthrall you right in the Thar Desert.
- Day 07 – Jaisalmer-Osiyan-Jodhpur
Transfer to Jodhpur – the sun city of Rajasthan en-route visit ancient Jain commerce center Osiyan known for its intriguing temples. In Jodhpur, visit Mehrangarh Fort – the most magnificent fort in India and next to the fort is silent cenotaphs of Jaswant Thada.
- Day 08 – Jodhpur-Ranakpur-Kumbhalgarh
Travel to Kumbhalgarh visiting marvelous Jain temples of Ranakpur. After resting a bit in the hotel, visit Kumbhalgarh Fort – a world heritage monument famous for its great wall of India.
- Day 09 – Kumbhalgarh-Udaipur
Drive to Lake City – Udaipur and relax in your hotel near enchanting Lake Pichhola.Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of maidens) and City Palace. Later, enjoy the sunset boat cruise – a lifetime experience overlooking the palaces.
- Day 10 – Udaipur-Delhi
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. From Delhi international airport embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour ends.

- Jeep Safari in Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Jeep safari is an adventure as well as wildlife safari since it will be going through the picturesque Aravali Mountains. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is nestled in the hills of Aravali and is a semi desert park. There are many wild animals and birds residing here such as leopard, wild boar, jackal and fox etc.
- Boat ride in Udaipur
Lake Pichhola of Udaipur is one of the most picturesque lakes in the world, historical palaces are in one side of the lake and another side are beautiful Aravali mountains. Taking a boat ride through the lake is a photographer’s dream come true.

Weather in Rajasthan?
The best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to March and the weather is pleasant during this period. However, in December and January the mornings and evenings are bit chilly and you are advised to bring light woolen cloths.
