Romantic Rajasthan With Agra Tour Itinerary
- Day 01 – Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, you will be received and would be further transferred to your hotel.
- Day 02 – Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, which is one of the tallest towers of it’s time in India, Humanyun’s Tomb – an UNESCO world heritage site which was built by Begum Hamida for his husband Mughal Emperor Humanyun. Later also visit India Gate, President’s House, the Parliament House. Take a tour of Red Fort – an UNESCO world heritage site, Jama Masjid – the biggest mosque of India, Chandni Chowk Market and Raj Ghat (a Memorial of Father of India Mahatma Gandhi).
- Day 03 – Delhi-Agra
Today you will be transferred to Agra. Later take a sightseeing tour of arguably the most beautiful monument of love the Taj Mahal – the most photogenic building in the world. Also visit historical Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site). From Agra Fort, four of the mighty rulers from Mughal dynasty ruled their enormous empire in Indian Sub-Continental.
- Day 04 – Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur visiting deserted capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar Fatehpur Sikri en-route. In Jaipur, visit a local family to learn Indian cooking and enjoy the traditional Rajasthani dinner.
- Day 05 – Jaipur
Today visit superb Amber Fort climbing its heights on the elephant back, an architectural delight Hawa Mahal (the wind palace); experience the astrology at Jantar Mantar (the observatory), the royal City Palace & its museum.
- Day 06 – Jaipur-Bundi
Drive to pristine land of Bundi. In Bundi, visit picturesque Bundi Fort located on hillock. There are astonishing paintings inside the fort, which make it lively. Later, walk through the vibrant bazars to closely feel the lifestyle of Rajasthan.
- Day 07 – Bundi-Menal-Udaipur
After breakfast, leave for Udaipur visiting en-route the temples at Menal known as mini Khajuraho because there are few Kamasutra figures on temple exterior.Upon arrival, relax at the hotel.
- Day 08 – Udaipur
Today, visit Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of maidens) and City Palace. Later, enjoy the sunset boat cruise – a lifetime experience overlooking the palaces.
- Day 09 – Udaipur-Ranakpur-Jodhpur
Today, enter from the lush green hills of Aravalis to Gateway of Thar Desert – Jodhpur. En-route visit outstanding Ranakpur Jain Temples. In Jodhpur, visit Mehrangarh Fort – the most magnificent fort in India and next to the fort is silent cenotaphs of Jaswant Thada.
- Day 10 – Jodhpur-Osiyan-Jaisalmer
Transfer to Jaisalmer en-route visit ancient Jain commerce center Osiyan known for its intriguing temples. Stay in the golden city for overnight.
- Day 11 – Jaisalmer
Explore the Jain temples in Golden Fort, visit grand Havelis in the city. Later, the live performance of Kalbeliya Dance along with soulful music will enthrall you right in the Thar Desert.
- Day 12 – Jaisalmer-Deshnok-Bikaner
Further travel to Bikaner halting briefly at Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok also quite famous as Rat Temple. On arrival at Bikaner,visit Junagarh Fort – a very well preserved monument.
- Day 13 – Bikaner-Mandawa
Enter into the land of frescos – Shekhawati known as biggest open art gallery. Visit various mansions called Havelis here to appreciate the captivating murals.
- Day 14 – Mandawa-Delhi
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Delhi international airport to embark the flight back to the onward destination. The tour ends.
