Pabuji is a local deity in Rajasthan especially in Thar Desert districts worshiped as a god of camels. In earlier days, when a camel used to fall ill then the Bhopas were called to sing folklore of Pabuji in front of a painted cloth called Phad. This Phad or Par is basically a scroll painting displaying the heroic story of Pabuji.
